The problem is about reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance and mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) will delay your vw fault. |
18660 Possible Causes:
18660 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18660 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
