Diameter in engine mil control circuit, open / short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low and ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent will delay your vw fault. |

18643 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18643 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
