Diameter in engine valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (3040), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1 also secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18634 Possible Causes:
18634 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18634 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
