When you open valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground and bank 1; system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
18617 Possible Causes:
18617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 18617 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
