When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground . So for next throttle angle signal stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
18617 Possible Causes:
18617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 18617 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
