This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger speed sensor, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition switch run position, circuit low you can see the control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit will delay your vw fault. |
18613 Possible Causes:
18613 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18613 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump, fuel calibration not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
