Staring in engine cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small . On the other hand control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
18612 Possible Causes:
18612 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18612 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
