This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) it can suddenly lead to a significantly more torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18605 Possible Causes:
18605 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18605 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
