Diagnosing engine bar with malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high also data-bus powertrain, implausible message from brake controller is the final reason of the code. |
18603 Possible Causes:
18603 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18603 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing messages
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
