This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of adr control module or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
18603 Possible Causes:
18603 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18603 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
