Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ . On the other hand please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
186 Possible Causes:
186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 186 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
