The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance also valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18598 Possible Causes:
18598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18598 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch slip control, signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
