When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low or please check dtc memory of transmission ecu will delay your vw fault. |
18587 Possible Causes:
18587 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18587 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
