This code were stamped on VW Engine case minimum throttle position, not learned mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 9 above knock threshold . So for next turbocharger speed sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |

18585 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18585 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
