18580 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor system too lean at higher load, bank 2 or ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18580 Possible Causes:
18580 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 18580 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
