18580 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on and wait then actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18580 Possible Causes:
18580 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18580 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
