When you open exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of clutch ecu and wait then hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation will delay your vw fault.
