Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation and fuel supply heater, control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18556 Possible Causes:
18556 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18556 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
