This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of clutch ecu it can suddenly lead to a significantly more accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high . On the other hand valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
18541 Possible Causes:
18541 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18541 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
