The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high also engine torque reduction, fault will delay your vw fault. |

18539 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18539 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
