Diagnosing engine bar with turbocharger 2 control module (j725), voltage supply outside permissible range retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller or change data bus powertrain, missing message from a/c controller will delay your vw fault. |
18538 Possible Causes:
18538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18538 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
