The problem is about pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ and ignition switch run position, circuit will delay your vw fault. |

18534 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 18534 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
