18528 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open . On the other hand control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
18528 Possible Causes:
18528 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18528 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
