18524 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small or change ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18524 Possible Causes:
18524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18524 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
