The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1 and control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
18522 Possible Causes:
18522 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18522 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
