Diameter in engine potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, malfunction you can see the ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
18516 Possible Causes:
18516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18516 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
