18516 Possible Causes:
18516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18516 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
