This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle angle signal stuck on it can suddenly lead to a significantly more barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit or ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
18509 Possible Causes:
18509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18509 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
