The problem is about ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of abs control module and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18506 Possible Causes:
18506 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18506 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
