18505 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of adr control module It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit electrical malfunction or o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault.

18505 Possible Causes:

18505 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 18505 Code

  • Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
