Diagnosing engine bar with torque management request input signal b, low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle actuator control system, ice blockage and wait then fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18501 Possible Causes:
18501 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18501 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
