The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant temperature sensor, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected or change shift lock, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
185 Possible Causes:
185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 185 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
