This something to do with the intake camshaft timing radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit also fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18499 Possible Causes:
18499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 18499 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
