When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high and wait then water in fuel sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
18499 Possible Causes:
18499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18499 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
