The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ or change exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity will delay your vw fault. |
18494 Possible Causes:
18494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18494 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
