The problem is about fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor bank 2, circuit low . So for next control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors is the final reason of the code. |
18489 Possible Causes:
18489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 18489 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
