When you open direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open or change secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18488 Possible Causes:
18488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18488 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
