Accumulated in electronic control units so injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground or voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18487 Possible Causes:
18487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18487 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
