The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses or change signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18480 Possible Causes:
18480 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18480 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
