When you open coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ or 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
18477 Possible Causes:
18477 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18477 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
