18473 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing system too rich at higher load, bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction you can see the exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low is the final reason of the code. |
18473 Possible Causes:
18473 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18473 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
