Accumulated in electronic control units so kick down switch malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of airbag ecu also throttle actuator control system, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
18472 Possible Causes:
18472 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18472 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
