Diagnosing engine bar with bank 1, system too rich off idle the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold also friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
18470 Possible Causes:
18470 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 18470 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
