18463 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, forced idle and intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range is the final reason of the code. |
18463 Possible Causes:
18463 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18463 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
