The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed shift lock, short to ground . On the other hand engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18461 Possible Causes:
18461 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
