The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector control pressure regulator, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low you can see the barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |

18456 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18456 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
