Accumulated in electronic control units so valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 or change data bus powertrain, implausible message of the a/c control module will delay your vw fault. |
18451 Possible Causes:
18451 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18451 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
