The problem is about torque management request input signal b, high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground and vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
18449 Possible Causes:
18449 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 18449 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
