This something to do with the intake camshaft timing angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after mass and wait then intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18445 Possible Causes:
18445 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 18445 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
