When you open valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18441 Possible Causes:
18441 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18441 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
