Staring in engine 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission range display, circuit short to b+ you can see the fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18439 Possible Causes:
18439 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18439 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
