The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault system too lean at higher load, bank 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18438 Possible Causes:
18438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
