This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of instrument cluster you can see the motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
18437 Possible Causes:
18437 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18437 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
