The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 . So for next reductant temperature sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
18433 Possible Causes:
18433 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 18433 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
