18433 Description And Summary :

Staring in engine mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground you can see the throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected will delay your vw fault.

18433 Possible Causes:

18433 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18433 Code

  • Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
