Accumulated in electronic control units so evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger control module 2, missing message you can see the fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18431 Possible Causes:
18431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18431 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
